What you'll do
As an experienced Quality Manager you will lead and develop Business Systems in a dynamic, fast growth organisation focussed on UK Government Communications Programs and Services. You will be part of the operations team responsibe for deleivering new capability to UK government.
The day-to-day

Managing and maintaining Viasat UK’s Integrated Business Management System to the following standards:
- AS9100
- ISO27001
- IS014001
- ISO45001
- Implementation of systems to enable the attainment of future certification of standards in line with the strategy.
- Supporting the Business Development Team with responses to PQQ’s and costing of quality to bids and proposals.
- Expert lead and technical author supporting new bid creation.
- Support to existing and future programs with quality management plans and appropriate project review for integrated systems and services
- Provide and report metrics to the leadership team that assess the business performance
- Support the leadership team with the management of corporate level risk
- Be the external face of quality for the business
- Manage the internal and external audit schedule.
- Where applicable lead root cause investigations and corrective action within the business including but not limited to process, product and customer complaints.
- Appropriate alignment to our US Head Office.
What you'll need
Key Skills / Knowledge and Attributes
- 7+ years of HSQE Management
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience working with UK MOD customers and Defence Standards
- Deep understanding of AS9100, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 27001
What will help you on the job
- Experience working with UK MOD customers and Defence Standards
- Be self motivated and able to understand all functions of an engineering organisation
- Expeince working with complex programs
