This role as a Software Engineer in FlexGen’s HybridOS Infrastructure team will design and develop infrastructure and tools for the reliable build, test and deployment of FlexGen’s energy management software (EMS), HybridOS. These systems are located on remote, secure, near air-gapped networks that require deployment strategies than the now typical cloud-based pipelines.

Energy storage represents a multibillion-dollar market at the center of the energy transition. Major Job Responsibilities:

Improving the continuous integration and delivery pipeline from Git to Jenkins to Artifactory
Maintaining Linux development environments in virtual machines, docker containers and
Supporting field deployments of new systems and migration of legacy systems
Automating yourself out of today’s job so that you can move on to the next big challenge

Position Requirements:

One (1) to two (2) years of work experience
Proficient with Git, continuous integration and multiplatform development environments
Experience with:

Compiled languages like C++ and Go
Scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Ansible and Bash
Structured and unstructured databases
Fundamentals of TCP/IP networking
Container environments like Docker
