Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the project resources, deliverables, budget, timeline and any internal/external (vendor) third-parties.
- Be accountable for the end-to-end Delivery of the Project work stream to the Stakeholders
- Ensure Projects are broken down into clear milestones (requirements gathering, system development schedule, deployment, testing)
- Report Project status/forecasting/budget to key stakeholders and business
- Identify and Manage Project Risk
- Ensure all Project Governance standards are met
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved. Therefore, the candidate needs to participate in hand-ons activities included requirements workshop, solution review, and testing
- Identify and manage relationships through effective communication with all stakeholders including third parties, and acts as the primary point of contact.
- The candidate will be responsible to manage underwriting rule engine enhancement/replacement
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Solid PM experience in insurance or banking project
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management
- Detailed knowledge of project management techniques, methods, and tools
- Direct work experience in project management of large scale, complex/multi-party enterprise delivery
- Proven experience in Insurance or other financial services, experience in life insurance underwriting and rule engine will be a plus
- Proven experience in people management
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and organization skills
- Understanding of insurance organisations, process, and system are preferable
- Having excellent skills of managing senior stakeholders
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written is a must
- Team player with strong desire for excellence
- Must be good at multi-tasking and be highly motivated to deal with the growing challenges in this field
- Underwriting knowledge (rule engine) is a plus
