Job Summary: As a Travel Nurse Assignment Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our nursing professionals on contract throughout their assignments. Leveraging your nursing expertise, managerial experience, and business acumen, you will lead a team of nurses to deliver exceptional care to our clients while ensuring optimal assignment success. You will play a vital role in organizing and project managing our nursing staff to ensure efficient staffing and optimal deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Nurse Management: Lead and manage a team of travel nurses on contract, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment to ensure high morale and productivity.
- Assignment Oversight: Oversee the entire lifecycle of travel nurse assignments, from onboarding to completion, ensuring seamless coordination between the nurses, healthcare facilities, and SkillGigs.
- Staffing Coordination: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and match qualified travel nurses to appropriate assignments based on their skills and preferences.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor the performance of travel nurses during their assignments, addressing any issues promptly to ensure the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
- Excel in Project Management: Utilize your project management skills to efficiently plan, organize, and execute travel nurse assignments, maintaining adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Data Analysis: Use your excellent Excel skills to analyze data related to staffing needs, nurse performance, and assignment outcomes to make informed decisions and improve overall operations.
- Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with all healthcare regulations and industry best practices to ensure full compliance and adherence to quality standards throughout the staffing process.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the travel nurse assignment process.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong communication with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure: Must hold a valid and active Registered Nurse license.
- MBA or Equivalent: Possess a Master's in Business Administration or a relevant field to showcase your business acumen and managerial capabilities.
- Nurse Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of nurses, either in a clinical setting or a related healthcare staffing environment.
