The Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager will define, communicate, and lead execution of the go-to-market strategy for assigned brands within the Domain brands with a focus on customer cross-sell and communications including strategy and driving execution for storefront, account manager/back of site, marketing emails, retargeting campaigns, automated system emails and integration of customer onboarding journeys.

In this highly visible role as Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager you are a responsible for driving the roadmap and execution for integrated cross-channel cross-sell growth.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

  • Success in this role requires a passion for marketing, eagerness to try and learn new things, and some knowledge of best practices around effective messaging, funnel optimization, deliverability, customer segmentation, reporting, analysis, and testing strategies.

  • A deep knowledge of customer lifecycle marketing preferably in similar industry or subscription based digital models.

  • Strong curiosity to learn from available feedback loops and translate to strong customer journey initiatives.

  • Ability to work across various teams (creative, content, acquisition, product, sales, BI, etc.) to implement strategies

  • Strong test and learn iteration skillset

  • Evaluate initiatives using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers

  • Develop comprehensive integrated channel marketing journeys across email (marketing and automated), blogs, storefront, and customer portals such as account manager.

  • Create customer engagement paths for all segments of assigned brands including dormant and opted-out customers.

  • Develop communication strategies and offers that are clear, concise, and relevant to the customer segments being addressed using data to inform these strategies.

  • Develop, publish, and cascade roadmaps for initiatives constantly evolving based on learning from prior initiatives.

  • Create analytics dashboard in conjunction with the BI team to report out on the success of cross-sell and upgrade initiatives.

  • Establish benchmarks and performance KPIs.

  • Establish tagging/analytics strategy and work with marketing operations to ensure proper capability to track performance is in place.

  • Report out on testing results (successes and failures).

    Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

    • Proven experience as a Customer Lifecycle or Product Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, or similar role

    • 5-7 years’ experience in a customer lifecycle marketing role

    • Experience in developing strong CLM strategies for products across channels based on data segmentation

    • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g., integrated marketing campaigns)

    • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (eg: Google Analytics, adobe analytics)

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills

    • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, or similar discipline (MBA a plus)

    The target compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 annually. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to: candidate’s qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience, as well as internal equity and market conditions.
