What you will do:
As a Senior role, we require you to demonstrate strong hands-on experience in addition we require you to manage a team.
- Team up with software keys and architects to design kick-ass, scalable database structures.
- Dial in the right database system configs for specific apps.
- Reverse engineer database schemas to get the 411 on table structures, relationships, and data models.
- Dive deep into database objects like stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Optimize big, gnarly queries and database setups for max efficiency.
- Document your reverse-engineering adventures, including ER diagrams and data dictionaries.
- Keep an eye on system performance and jump on issues to minimize downtime.
- Help troubleshoot database snags in applications.
- Be a rockstar in problem-solving and communication.
Who you are:
- Remote work.
- Must be active in the Eastern Time Zone.
- Got at least 10 years of real-world experience.
- Hands-on skills with Oracle EE are a must.
- If you've got Microsoft MSSQL experience, that's a sweet bonus
