Product Quality Manager
FlexGen
FlexGen is looking to partner with a Product Quality Manager that will be responsible for the oversight of all equipment post FAT (factory acceptance testing) during shipping from the manufacturer all the way to the final destination and track where any damage might have occurred during transit. The candidate will keep a record of the equipment condition on how it was crated at the factory, working with the team in the host country to document the crating process of each piece of equipment. Once the equipment arrives in port (if it is an international partner) the candidate may be required to travel to port to inspect proper offloading of equipment from shipping container to loading onto US based carrier for final delivery to FlexGen location ensuring equipment has not been damaged or mishandled in the process. Once equipment has arrived at final location, the candidate will be responsible to witness the offloading, unpacking of the equipment, and documenting any damage that may have occurred while in transit. If any damage is identified, the candidate will need to oversee the correction action item for equipment repair. Once the contractor is ready to set the equipment in place, the candidate will witness and document the procedure of setting the equipment, securing the equipment, and proper installation prior to energization and before handing the equipment over to the commissioning team. The candidate will report directly to the Director of Construction.
