We are seeking a Completions Operations Manager located in Houston to support our 24/7 operations team. The Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining our world-class data quality, implementing best practices, and driving operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in unconventional and conventional Completions operations, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in team management.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Build and implement best practices for the 24/7 operations team to optimize performance and ensure consistent service delivery
- Develop operational procedures and training material to standardize workflows and enhance team productivity
- Perform deep dives into QA/QC issues to identify root causes and provide actionable insights, enabling the 24/7 team to focus on real-time operations
- Prepare written reports daily regarding operations and QA/QC status, providing clear and concise updates to upper management
- Provide regular feedback to each team member through scheduled 1 on 1 meetings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Communicate with customers to resolve issues as needed via Email, phone, and Intercom, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Assist in hiring and training of all new employees, contributing to the growth and development of the operations team
- Collaborate with customers to create communication protocols to effectively resolve issues and address customer needs
- Provide testing of staged systems prior to deployment into production, ensuring seamless integration and functionality
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve efficiencies in operations to upper management, actively contributing to process enhancements and workflow optimizations
- Collaborate with our Fusion development team to improve efficiencies through automation, leveraging technology to streamline operations
- Ensure all activity is accurately tracked on all Billing invoices, maintaining transparency and accountability in financial processes
- Investigate and communicate platform improvements to Corva’s Product and R&D teams, playing a vital role in enhancing the product and driving innovation
- Ability to work remotely as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Perform other duties as required, effectively managing ad-hoc tasks and contributing to the overall success of the operations team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Advanced knowledge of completions systems data, including interpretation of frac and wireline data
- Minimum of 4 (four) years in completions industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry practices and challenges
- Minimum of 2 (two) years management experience, showcasing strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work an on-call schedule, ensuring availability and responsiveness during critical operational periods
- Four-year college degree
- Field or RTO experience
- Schedule is Monday - Friday
- On-Call on weekends and evenings as needed
- Reports to Director of Operations
