About the Job:

As a Senior Consultant on the Capital Markets Team, you will work in a fast-paced team setting, alongside industry experts.

In this role, you will provide project management support to technology delivery teams. You will manage the software development lifecycle from business scoping and requirements through technology implementation. You will become an expert in cross-functional, end-to-end delivery that spans multiple products.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Establish and maintain project(s) scope, governance, and communication plans
  • Document business requirements across Front Office, Middle/Back Office, Risk, Financial Control, etc.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end and project(s) plan(s) across business, technology, and any required 3rd parties
  • Manage change control processes for application(s) in scope
  • Administer and own project(s) open items, issues and risk logs; Drive issues to remediation and mitigate risks
  • Manage overall testing activities including test strategy, planning and execution for all in-scope test cycles i.e., Regression, QA, UAT, Performance, etc.
  • Develop and distribute project(s) status and necessary metrics to working groups and senior steering committees
  • Vendor relationship management

What you’ll bring with You:

  • 4+ years' experience in capital markets specifically with derivatives products
  • 2-4 years' experience with technology management, analysis, or development
  • Exposure to multiple project management methodologies including, but not limited to Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience in successfully delivering business and technology projects with an understanding of product development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of development productivity tools (JIRA, TFS, or other)
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous Murex experience is preferred
