The Role

We are looking for engineers who want to play a key part in supporting the evolution of the Financial Services industry one project at a time. You will be expected to be a strong team player who prides themselves on delivering modern, first class cloud based platforms through practicing best in class Agile ways of working at all times.

Essential Skills:

Extensive commercial experience as a Python engineer using a variety of frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, Bottle, FastAPI)
You follow object-oriented design concepts
Experience of Git & a good understanding of CI/CD best practices
Experience with testing both traditional and serverless cloud apps and BDD/TDD
Good understanding of different databases (Relational and NoSQL)
Strong organisational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
You’re a strong communicator with an ability to explain complex solutions to non-technical audiences

Desirable

Experience building high-performance, highly scalable, cloud-based applications in Azure/AWS/GCP and containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Kafka (or similar) messaging middleware using queues, pub-sub channels, and streaming technologies
Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns
