SUMMARY: Our team is looking for an energetic and dynamic Facilities Project Manager who will primarily be responsible for aiding Axiom’s Facilities team with expanding and outfitting all our facilities to meet Axiom’s expanding business needs. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about thoughtful building design, building systems, and excels at problem solving. The role requires strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsibilities will include ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget
- Oversee new construction, renovations, and upgrades of Axiom facilities
- Visit job sites daily to document and ensure the quality, safety, and progress of the work in alignment with our competency of problem solving
- Record activities on a daily log for all project documentation
- Maintain photo records of all phases of the assigned projects
- Oversee assigned projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, to closure in alignment with our competency of organizational support
- Must be able to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Oversee assigned new construction, renovations, and special projects
- Review pre-construction plans and documentation to ensure construction materials and techniques meet requirements
- Attend and participate in all progress meetings for assigned projects in alignment with our competency of communication
- Adhere to Federal state and local building regulations
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with projects architects, engineers, and contractors in alignment with our competency of teamwork

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, education, and training
- 5+ years of facilities experience with construction, planning, design, and space allocation.
- Laboratory construction preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft office and Facility Management Software.
Essential Functions
- Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
Requirements
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Physical Requirements (For Technicians or others, this may require edits)
- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
